JP catholic schools have been open for a week, shutdown Mon & Tues for the storms.
JP public schools were supposed to start today, but I think they pushed it back until Monday when the storms were supposed to hit this week (most likely to accommodate the areas closer to the Gulf so they can all start at the same time).

Phase 1.5 until at least October. He just won a bunch of court cases, because of schools reopening, and he said that the numbers this week don’t matter. Even all the data says we should be in phase 3.

Worst part about not going to phase 3 is the schools. The hybrid days suck.

Agree. Not only are small businesses suffering kids are not getting back to normal and many are not going to be able to go to school or play fall sports.

As to the mask mandate, there are no metrics. If one were trying to be remotely scientific about it (setting aside that we know masks don't work), there is no objective measure to let someone know when the mask mandate should go away. Further, if you are a anti-science loon who thinks masks do work, the mandate should never expire, because, it keeps you from getting sick. What a mess. If only we had a opposition legislature that would end the madness.
