I’m done with my democrat friends!

If they’re still voting democrat then they’re either for my country being burned down, or too stupid to figure out that’s what’s happening
Either way, with friends like that who needs enemies
This election will inventory and clean out my friendships
I just don’t need democrats in my life at all

I was done with the DemocRATS decades ago, I was done with the Republican party about 15 years ago. TRUMP brought me back "temporarily" to Republicans

There's some folks I can talk to with a reasonable expectation of civility and understanding. They are still my friends, and I do appreciate different perspectives, even if I think they are incredibly wrong.
It's the ones that REEEEEEEEE all the way home in an apoplectic mongoloid fit that I have slowly distanced myself from.

and one's understanding how the government should work.

I’m 65
I’ve got friends going back 6 decades
Some of them started life as democrats from democrat parents back when democrats weren’t as destructive and paraded as “helping people” and many were snowed by it. Many have changed as we’ve aged. If they’re still sticking with democrat party now though, I don’t want em in my life

I still have plenty of Republican friends...friends are friends no matter how we see solutions to the world, we all want the same thing, a good life for those around us, we just disagree on what the greatest good is but still have a lot in common.
That said they are nothing like the Trump loving gossip queens on this board, whining how things aren't fair even though they control most of the government and have their own media and the majority of billionaores on their side.
They also never mention Alyssa Milano, First Ladies, Donna Brazille, Cardi B and failed Presidential candidate Hilary Clinton like y'all seem top be obsesses with base on the top 2-3 pages of posts.
Ya gotta admit it like a hen house pecking party here, right? Not many of my friends care about actresses and first ladies at all.
