I pay someone to remove them in the mudroom to my sunroom.

I wear them in other people's homes. frick them.

I wear my church crocs inside and I wear my beat up crocs outside

Hardwood throughout... wear shoes

In the garage or in the laundry room which is right after you come in from the garage.

I generally take them off at the mud room entryway. We have a bench, coat rack, drawers for shoes. But I’m not hardcore. I regularly walk through my house with shoes on and I don’t have some atrocious sign up front warning guest ‘No Shoes’. For dinner parties I don’t have a buncha baws sliding around on my hardwoods in rainbow dress socks like a buncha soi Bois.

Leave them at the door.
