If Biden is having to spend money and resources defending New York that is great news for Trump.

The big worry I have is what states did the New Yorkers flee to?
If they fled to mass, RI, CT, or Vermont then no problem.

I believe that Trump said his internal polling is looking good for NY the other day when he got the endorsement from the police union. He may not win the state but he thinks it will be competitive, which is a miracle in and of itself.

But still not worth putting a lot of resources on the ground there. Campaign should run a few "back the blue, law and order" campaign commercials to show definitive support for the NYPD but a ground game is futile, particularly in the metropolises. Hell, his campaign staff might get murdered just for being there supporting him.

I think you need to also consider that with the way CoVid was handled by sending infectious nursing home patients back to the nursing homes, probably everyone in NY knows someone that had a mother, father, grandmother, or grandfather killed by an attempt by the democrat leadership to make Trump look bad.

Yeah, Trump is flirting with the margin of error in NY (he won't win NY, of course), but Georgia and Texas are winnable for Sleepy Joe and Shebama.
