Georgia is a swing state the same way Stacey Abrams is a runway model.

Why not, TX and FL are key for the Rs. CA and NY are key for the Ds
TX and FL will not be in doubt, so think of it as a baseline for the other actual battleground states.

If you take Texas, Iowa, Georgia and Colorado out, the Map is correct. I would almost argue at this point that Nevada is firm Democrat, while Ohio is firm Republican.

Don't have the link to the article this came from, but your post does not support your title.
The content of the graph clearly states they are targeting at least 14 key Senate races. This has nothing to do with whether or not these are SWING states, just that they are looking at Senate races that happen to be in these 14 states.

Doesn’t bode well for Biden that most of the Midwest is seen as a “swing state”

One of these things is not like the others
One of these things just doesn’t belong

I firmly believe CO, NV, ME are going blue again.
Trump was actually very close in Nevada in 2016 but I think it's blue.
OH, IA, TX, GA, NC are red.
The only swing states are: FL, AZ, MI, MN, PA, WI
Sucks they didn't put NH because trump only lost it by 2k votes in 2016.

Whoda thunk allll those blue rust belt states would be considered swing states.

These are swing states for US Senate, which is why you have TX, FL, and GA shown.
For example, John Cornyn is up for reelection in TX. This is considered a swing state due to how close the 2018 Senate race was, but that election cycle did not include Trump.

They are asking for contributions to create polls which they then sell to the candidates.
Why wouldn't they include as many states as possible?

I guess that will make Joe look pretty bad when he can only win 2 or 3 of the 14 swing states.

Technically they are swing if the margin of victory is expected to be less than 5%, which it could be for all of those states. However, New Hampshire should be considered swing as well, if that’s the metric they are using.
