Are we really this stupid as a country where nobody remembers to vote or register to vote. We have to be reminded by Hollywood and athletes? and why aren't they honest and say vote democrat which is what they really mean

Because they think they are better than us and we should do what they say.

Yes. Voter participation is garbage in this country. Routinely between 45-55%.
And it’s not about remembering either. It’s about not giving a shite.
Also, it was the Democratic convention. No crap they are selling you on voting democrat Agree with them or not, that’s the ENTIRE purpose of the event

They do it for virtual signal points.

Because the left is comprised of bird brains who need to be reminded to vote by other bird brains they respect.

Yes, Hollywood does think it is smarter than the rest of America. The part that builds roads, bridges, buildings, machinery, creates jobs, grows the food, raises the livestock, finds and pumps the oil and refines it, the people that work in industry, utilities, food preparation and the people that protect us, firemen, police..you know, those people that actually make civilization work.
Hollywood is made up of pretenders. We are the doers.

Isn’t Scott Baio lined up as a speaker for the Republican show?
So I guess you only hate it when they aren’t in your tribe.

The founding fathers intended less than that to vote. A vote was supposed to represent a land owning household not a person.

VOTING SHOULD BE A NATIONAL HOLIDAY

Because everyone in their circle thinks like them, lives like them and will vote like them. They don't understand why you and I would have a different criteria for selecting an elected official.
That is why you have morons like will farrell campaigning for another moron to become governor of Georgia. His only goal was to put a woman of color in power and never considered if she was capable of handling the job. The people of Georgia had different concerns that thankfully prevailed.

I would forget if people who make their living pretending to be someone else or singing didn't remind me.

This is hilarious as when leftists mention Fox News (and ONLY Fox News) like they think their existence is unfair.
Nobody here is breathlessly waiting for Scott Baio to speak.

You may be surprised by this but high voter participation is usually considered a sign of big problems.
Low participation countries tend to be pretty stable and people are generally happy with the direction.
High participation countries tend to be parliamentary ones with very fractious politics that are extremely unstable. Italy, for example, habitually has very high participation rates and has the government stability of a Latin American dictatorship.
Bertoluscioni has been PM there multiple times despite being dirty as hell in part because he is one of the few people able to keep coalitions from fracturing and forcing a new vote.

I love celebrities. Who doesn't? I watch Entertainment Tonight reruns on a 24-hour loop. Can't get enough of their antics.
