I just noticed they have not even started school, when most of Texas started last week. Topping it off they will be virtual only to at least the first week of October. If you are going to be virtual, why not start with everyone else?

Nothing but fricking morons have to choose to live there.

Public schools in San Marcos don’t start until September 8th. And they will be online til around October as well.

My kids started online this week and will be for at least 2 more weeks, then the ISD will be hybrid. We are definitely sending ours. Hopefully the Karens won't freak out when kids start testing positive. I think the biggest issue is if the teachers get sick since there are only so many available. We are in Arlington but kids are in HEB ISD.

Didn't somebody shoot like 5 cops there a couple years ago? Dallas is really falling behind places like Detroit and NOLA.

I like it here. Less of a poo poo hole than Houston or Austin.

DISD is a disaster. There’s only 1.5 decent high schools in Dallas. The problem is that all of Dallas County and multiple school districts are impacted by the judge’s order, including Highland Park, Carrollton, and Irving.

You have to escape to Collin, Denton, Tarrant counties to escape Dallas politics.

Perhaps you haven’t heard of a tiny little school district, HISD?

They’re doing the same thing Pedro.

I have no ties to, allegiance to, or affinity toward Dallas.

But I’d also be willing to bet you live in a much shittier place. So where do you call home?
