What is the one quality or skill set you want in players going forward?

That could be a draft pick or free agent.

My top is:
3 point shot potential/gravity

If I could add one more it would be:

alpha mentality

3 level scorer who can create space anywhere on the court especially in isolation.

Not really. Nesmith fits his description to a T.

To be clear here I’m not talking about one player.

I’m talking in general about every player we bring in.

I want a roster full of bombers next to Zion, and I think our team is just too quiet and passive.

Yeah probably that or defensive ability. You’re more likely to improve a guys shot than his defensive ability

I want players with that "dog" in them.

Give me 13 Josh Hart's alongside BI and Zion.

Elite ball handling, we don’t really have anyone with a great handle. In crunch time when it matters we have players fumbling the ball all over the place.

Second would be 3 point shooting, but I feel like we have a decent amount of that already.

ETA: obviously every player won’t have elite ball handling, but I think we need 1 guy that has a tight handle.

A 3&D player that can start.

Seems like the only time we've had that in this franchise's history was with Trevor Ariza.

Maybe I wasn’t clear.

I’m not talking about the skill set of ONE player we bring in.

I’m talking virtually EVERY player we bring in.

If 3&D is an acceptable answer then that.

Defense. Defense. Defense.

We will never have trouble scoring as long as BI and Zion continue to develop on their current trajectories.

My thing is we have good defensive players and still suck at it.

It’s more a team mentality imo and coaching
