Some teams go out for fun with 7 guys.

Some teams have 22 players, jerseys, and bring 100 people.

Either way...you will lose.

Back in the 1980's I played tackle football for the BREC Broncos, does that count?

Back in the day. Yeah...if coach woulda put me in fourth quarter, we would've been state champions. No doubt. No doubt in my mind.

This is pretty spot on. Some of these teams take it seriously, and other teams act like They’ve never actually played a down in their life.

I was on the latter, a lot of guys had never played anything other than backyard ball. We got our asses smoked every game. I’m talking 1 play 50-90 yard touchdowns on 50% of all drives.

If you were on a team with experience and that at least practiced and had a game plan, it could be fun. May not win against the super serious big teams, But your guys won't be so clueless and out of position that you’re constantly pissed.

Sometimes my flag football team was unathletic, but with right strategy you can win

On a scale of 1-10 it's either a 1 or a 10, depending on your point of view.

Hope this helps.

We had a team in the late 90s and early 2000s. Played against some great teams that had players like Larry Foster (from Detroit), Bryan Sparacino (LSU QB) and the Beer Man (from the Saints). We had one of the only integrated teams, with both white and black players-one guy even went from our team, to the Washington Redskins practice squad. To put in perspective, we had a great quarterback who pitched in college, a former all SWAC running back and several college receivers and DBs. . . . . . and we were the "third" best team league-never really even close to the top teams. We could beat the average time by 40 points, then get beat by the best teams nearly as badly. Some of those teams were unbelievable.

I do not know the quality of the teams now, but back in the day, it was unreal.

Jesus christ. These jokes are not even funny anymore. Every time I post, I come up with a few "walk, standup, roll, etc" jokes that are the obvious jokes someone can make and you simple fricks never fail me.

I laugh because some of yall try to be funny and its just so predictable.

I played one year. It was mostly unathletic, but in-shape guys if that makes sense. I had good hands and could catch what was thrown to me, but average speed at best would keep me from getting open.

I wanna say we lost our first game 6-0 or 8-6 or something like that. We won our second game because the opponent was down 2 guys the whole game. After that, it got ugly fast. We’d run into teams that had the wristbands with plays on them. They would carve us up with no effort. We didn’t win a game the rest of the way. I broke a couple of bones in my hand trying to pull flags off of dudes that moved like freight trains.

It was still fun.
