Need to see some combination of Alonso, Christiansen, Tomori, Emerson, Rahman, Drinkwater and Musonda. Maybe throw Kepa or Willy in the goal as to not spoil Mendy’s goals against.

none of these are eligible to feature in a UCL game. drinkwater will never play for chelsea again i imagine. charly is coming back from injury, might still be rehabbing. who knows whats going on with baba rahman, but Maatsen would feature before him anyway as 3rd/4th LB.

i still think our best bet is a good performance tomorrow, a loan to spain (with us paying some of his wages) where he has a decent spell. Then we sell him at a loss next summer. With stadiums relatively empty until probably 21/22, I don't think a ton of teams will have money to throw around.

I want kepa to play well. We don’t have a great backup for Mendy right now. Willy is good in doses but would be disastrous if Mendy got a bad injury.

Mendy unlucky on the penalty. Reece looks fantastic and his crosses always have potential. OG non-existent so far. I would love to see Kante attack the goal because he’s so good on the ball and sets others up so well, but he could easily maneuver his way to open looks. It’s only a matter of time before we even it up on a set piece.

Lackluster effort from Blues after many guys getting rest this week. Toffees really clamped down on OG. Kai adds nothing. Really could’ve used Ziyech and Pulisic to pressure Everton back line. Reece James was brilliant today.
Tough stretch of matches coming up and Frank has to figure out where to get some offense.
