That one ball was a ricochet, but that header should have probably gone in. Not an easy angle though, on replay

Solid win today against a quality side. Great game by Zouma, OG, Silva, and especially Mount. Mason catches a lot of hell here as the coach’s pet but the dude was everywhere today. Mendy finished well after a bad decision (his indecision costs us a goal) but solid nonetheless. 10 was pretty average until the end. Can’t say enough about Chilly, Zouma, Silva and Reece. Top of the table for now.

One last comment- Kai is disappointing. He needs to show something or Frank should sit him. He adds little. And frick Tammy and his lethargic arse.

I know pressing is Leeds' thing, but LOL at allowing us to sit around and then hit quickly with fast build up.

We're not playing him where he's best, so I don't really get the signing.

feel really good about the squad coiming together

already ordered my OG18 Jersey

OG is the Abby Wambach for this side, needs to start and TA comes in late like today. OG is just looking to score and is magic on the headers

As long as Tammy only gets 12 minutes at the end I’m fine with that. He is just so very passive and does not work for the ball. He does nothing unless the ball comes in to him. Giroud is so much better in all facets.

Why were Chelsea fans catcalling/whistling the Leeds defender every time he got the ball?

Apparently he squealed like a b*tch when he and OG collided and the fans never let him forget it.

Top of the table was fun while it lasted. And frick Arsenal and our cast-offs Willian who has done nothing for Gunners and the hapless concussed David Luiz.

It's still early. Cockspurs are 1 injury away from mediocrity.

Ziyech and CHO out vs Krasnodar Tuesday. Ziyech i get but CHO tweaked a hamstring in training. What is it about this team and hamstrings? CHO was to start in this match and try and find form- he needed this game and now he’s out. This kind of match which means nothing is the kind that scares me due to injury potential. Hopefully Frank does the right thing and play the regular starters sparingly. Should see Gilmore tomorrow.

It's kinda hard to do this time around. Frank confirmed Gilmour would start. Normally you'd get some youth guys involved for these sorts of games, but they have bubble rules between the different squads. It's a shame because this would've been a wonderful experience for some of the 18-20 year olds at the club. Even if they just came off the bench for 10 minutes.

What are the exact restrictions? Like if a clubs u23 players train with the first team does it affect them too?

I'm not sure exactly. I just remember Frank talking about how it was hard to gauge if injured players are fit again because he couldn't just simply send them to play a U-23 game without jumping through some hoops.

with the UCL game, you can only use the registered players anyway, and you cant tinker with the squad until the knockout stages.

Anjorin and Henry Lawrence are registered, and Maatsen is listed as "outside" the group, but still on the list, so i have no idea what that means. id imagine both play some tomorrow. maybe emerson plays on the wing again too.
