short of Ziyech, this is the lineup I have been wanting to see

I want another goal before I say it

Unfrickingbelievable. Disgusting.
Why take OG off and bring in do-nothing Tammy??

Unfortunate on that first goal, was a clear goal kick

Fat Frank is not a competent manager
Posted on 12/15/20 at 2:14 pm to In The Know
Putting timo on the wing is useless. Especially in pulisics spot. The ideal top is puli ziyech and Werner ST. But we need better play calling from frank. I don’t understand his head sometimes

Frank baffles me. If he cannot figure out how to put the parts together then sack him. Roman should give him a short leash. Blues have beaten nobody of quality this season. Just really poor decisions.

Frank has underachieved considering the talent he has at his disposal

I get that Thiago Silva is a seasoned veteran, but it always strikes me as odd when a manager gives the captain's armband to a brand new signing.

Yeah, I think it has more to do with the fact we clearly had very little leadership in our team than anything. We have almost zero club veterans.

Maybe but this has to fall on Frank. Maybe it’s his inexperience at this level. It’s frustrating and I hope Roman considers a change before it’s too late.

I mean, you don't have to argue with me. I've not been excited about Frank since they announced he was our manager.

What the frick is Frank doing moving Pulisic to the right when Wolves had absolutely no answer to what he was doing on the left?
Posted on 12/15/20 at 3:50 pm to cwil177
Being bad at his job. Semedo was struggling to deal with him.

Semedo was getting torched. Pulisic was just tooling on a former Barça RB but no let’s move him to the right wing.

Timo Time
quote:
You have to score and the pressure you have in every new club, but I think I can handle it very well because I got the same pressure at my old club and everybody wanted me to score. It’s not something new to me but now it’s a new ground from where I’ve been so its new people and new players around me. ‘So the pressure is a little bit higher than the last years but I think good footballers are the best under pressure and that’s my plan, I can do very well under pressure.’
However, as much as our number 11 embraces the weight of expectation on him as a new striker at a big club like Chelsea, he admits he is still settling in England and getting used to the physical and fast-paced nature of the Premier League after arriving from the Bundesliga.
quote:
The Premier League is a little bit different to my old league that I used to play in. I have to say it’s tougher than I thought. The contact here is harder than in Germany, it’s what I expected but not like this.
‘I think it’s also hard when you play every three days and the Champions League and internationals and you have to play on Saturday against teams that can rest the whole week and think only about the game against you. It makes it not easy to be the best in every game but the Premier League is very fun to play in.
‘The beginning was very good, now a little bit after a lot of games I don’t know if its normal but I’m struggling a little bit. There are lot of games at the moment and I think there’s some chances that I’ve missed two or three weeks ago that were not the best thing, but I think when you are new to a country and league it’s always a little bit hard to adapt and it should be no excuse. I should try to do my best to be the best footballer that I can be in this league and I think I’ll adapt well.’

Timo struggled again today. Him saying the league is more physical than Germany is true but now I feel he’s shying away from the contact. And he’s not finishing like he did early on as if he’s anticipating contact.
Win is a win but this wasn’t a thing of beauty. WHU controlled possession in the second half. The WHU goal not allowed was a gift. Tammy did well and he really needed a good game. Clean sheets are good too. Blues needed three points badly.
