The far left does it. The far right does it. They ALWAYS point to politics.

If you think all this college football stuff is political, you're a brainwashed retard.

It has nothing to do with politics. It has to do with the players and the liability around those players. Some people are over-concerned about these two things (Big10 and PAC12), some aren't (SEC, BIG12, ACC)

I want to have college football. I can't see a reason why football couldn't/shouldn't be played across the country. But some medical advisors have a different opinion on the "spread" and long-term effects of the virus, etc. - that's what lead to these cancellations. NOT POLITICS.

Get your head out of that fricking jar!

Don't let facts get in your cereal this morning. They're hard to digest.

Because the media tends to spin propaganda to build a narrative rather than report the truth.

People know that is bullshite and start making their own leaps. And frankly it isn’t that less believable than what CNN is saying.

Man, I can't see why people would think college football playing/not playing because of the virus is breaking down along political lines

Liability and fear of being sued is the biggest part of it. But you are off of your rocker if you don't think these far left college presidents are getting their rocks off at the thought of potentially spinning not having a season against Trump. They will love telling their academia buddies about this while they all sniff each other's farts.

When JFK Jr walks on stage after Trump's second inauguration, you will understand.

At first I did not realize the players from the PAC 12 and Big 10 were being a bunch of crybabies. Now it's more understandable why those conference leaders said f' it.

The other conference players are not a bunch of crybabies so with the proper virus protection procedures/measures in place the other conferences don't have valid reasons to cancel.

95% of academia is libtarded. They control college athletics.

Covid is their last hope to stop Trump.

Remember Duke’s Lacrosse Team?

I'd be willing to bet that you don't have a clue what came out yesterday about Seth Rich, Wikileaks, and the FBI. Yet, you want to lecture the board on "conspiracy theories."

Climb back in your low-information foxhole and stay there.

Nothing? I would venture it has 90% to do with politics because those that are making decisions adhere with

In 2020, it’s never been more clear that the extreme right and left are the same type of (highly emotional) people. Everything is either racist, a conspiracy, or unfair.

You are obviously 100% correct. No politics at all. But just to play devil's advocate, let's look at the states in the 3 conferences playing by how they went in 2016 election. And remember the election was basically 50/50.

Orange man bad states
New York
Massachusetts
Virginia

Orange man good states
Arkansas
Louisiana
Florida
Georgia
Tennessee
Alabama
Texas
Kentucky
South Carolina
Missouri
Mississippi
North Carolina
Pennsylvania
Oklahoma
Iowa
West Virginia
Kansas

I'm sure this is just a coincidence, and nothing political a couple months before an election.

I love the tendency Karen has to not only be wrong, but to be SPECTACULARLY wrong.

And really, if you are older than say 13 , why not use a simple modifier? You could say “ mostly political “ for instance, and retain a valid argument. But no.....

You may not have seen it OP but just this morning someone posted an article from a left wing rag that was titled " Ohio State cancels season, does Trump take a hit?"

It is a conspiracy and it's the left wing doing it, not the right.
