“Big ten states are led by responsible believers in science who through good govt got this virus under control. I love Whitmer and Evers!”

“I support the big ten season being canceled as the virus is still out of control in the region”

Pick one.

You can’t pick both

Yet the same people praising the blue state north for getting virus under control are now claiming big ten making right decision to cancel as it is still too dangerous

I don't think that a single president's decision represents what the entire fanbase wants at all. Personally, I'm extremely upset with my school and conference.

It's not about the student athletes. Its about making a name for themselves.

The conference commissioners don't give a frick about sports. Its all political.

By cancelling fall sports, you are putting these student athletes in a position of deciding whether or not to come back. What are they going to do? Just be a student taking online classes? Thats fricking dumb.

They are trying to keep the spread under control and avoid a second wave. This isn't a difficult concept to understand.

So this is why Illinois, Michigan, Minnesota, and other Big Ten states are allowing widespread protests?

Yes you can because you are no longer being responsible If a bunch of players and coaches get the virus.

It's because of the pandemic.

The number of players getting the virus is statistically insignificant. Infection rate is insanely low for 18-25 age group.

Coaches? That is a different matter but it isn’t like JoePa is still out there.

Ahh, the infamous 2nd wave. We’ll be sheltering at home and shutting down the economy until 2022 to avoid that 2nd wave.

Fear of lawsuits on the off chance that a player does get sick and dies.

they’re mostly peaceful! And everyone knows the covid doesn’t spread at protests. Current research is looking into the link between the non-spread at protests & the low IQ rates of the participants.
