Thoughts on adults who wear shorts to church?

What says the OT? I get it- we should be glad any time someone attends church regardless of appearance, but do find it trashy or disrespectful when adults wear shorts to the main Sunday service?

Every grown man at my church wears a suit, but I realize that's not commonplace anymore. I don't think I've even seen any of the kids in shorts.

We don't go to church regularly but I don't usually wear a suit. Typically just some slacks and button down shirt.
