Cyborg, make the recipe as a topping for a burger. I'll be there day one for it.

We used to have a restaurant similar to Crazy Johnnies on west Napoleon called The Rock and this was the most popular appetizer/meal. Nothing better than a bowl of this with French bread followed by a steak.

We’ve had her cookbook for years. It’s actually the old one. Your mom signed it. We use the BBQ shrimp recipe that’s cooked in the oven. It’s my favorite thing my wife cooks.

Looked up the cookbook. Amazon only has used. Where can it be ordered? Thanks

I'll get hammered for asking this, but does anyone make BBQ shrimp with the shrimp peeled ahead of time? I'll eat it any which way, but my family wants it deveined.

I've seen it done peeled. You lose the benefit of the flavor from the shells and particularly the heads if you're using head on shrimp. Many folks will use peeled and deveined to make a bbq shrimp type sauce to put over grits, for example.
In the Gordon Ramsey thread posted recently, he left the tails and heads on, but deveined and peeled the shrimp bodies.
