Looks like we’re going conference only. Ole Miss plays Auburn before us for their first SEC game. Does this push another SEC team before we play Ole Miss? Or do they completely redo the schedule?

Surely Bama's extra 2 games will be a home and home with Vandy

So safe enough to play SEC teams but not non-conference. We're taking the virus super "seriously" in the SEC apparently lol

Somehow, they'll dodge them and get the murderer's row of Vandy, Missouri, and Kentucky.

I mean the ACC just announced they are going to an 11 game schedule. 10 conference games and 1 Non conference game. Notre Dame is also eligible for the ACC Championship

I guess rivalry games such as FSU-Florida are out.

It's called mitigation. Every state, every school, has their own protocol. Keep it with the ones you know and "trust".

ETA The NCAA is essentially the wild wild west right now. Everyone is doing their own thing. But conferences have established lines of communication with their own schools and have a better picture of how they're handling COVID.

Will be disappointing to not play that Texas home game but I guess it was gonna be that way anyhow without a full throated Tiger Stadium.

I'm not sure if that one will be rescheduled for the future. Looking at our own upcoming OOC schedules, we've already got some premier OOC games scheduled.

2021 at UCLA
2022 Florida State (Nola)
2023 Florida State (Orlando)
2024 UCLA
2025 at Clemson
2026 Clemson
2027 at Oklahoma
2028 Oklahoma
2029 Arizona State
2030 at Arizona State
2031 at Utah
2021 Utah

The ACC Commissioner and the conference AD's are freaking idiots for approving this.

Why? Perhaps it will add some credibility to that game.

Yeah definitely, Notre Dame will at least be some kind of competition for Clemson

Bama will get Tulane and Sewanee since they were one time members of SEC

Initial reports state that Bama will indeed play Vandy twice. Both in Tuscaloosa.

I get this but look at who we “had to play” last year and how it turned out. We beat Bama, Auburn, Florida and Georgia plus OOC Texas, Oklahoma and Clemson. The only highly ranked team we didn’t play was Ohio State who got beat by the team we beat by 17 to win the Natty.
It will all work out !
That said...BAMA needs to play Georgia AND Florida.

The proposition of the extra 2 games would be the next 2 cross divisional teams you were to play in 2021 and 2022

For us that's Kentucky and tennessee

For my fiancé (Georgia) it's fricking miss st and Arkansas.
