Fix your fence. Be the bigger man. Go on with your life without getting into some sort of grudge match that could drag out for years.

Are you angry enough to fight him in 9 rounds of bare-knuckle boxing? If you’re not angry enough to bare-knuckle box over it, then you’re really not that mad. If that’s the case, just be the bigger man and move the debris over four feet.

do you have or intend to have kids? This is the opportunity to play the long game. If you have a young son, you just look at the guy and say "yeah I got a young boy, Lord only knows what he's gonna get into when he's a teenager". Do a three second cold stare, and walk away. I personally removed the muffler off my sons first four wheeler and told him to only ride in front of mr shall remain nameless' house, while nameless was on the night shift. I allowed it to happen for a month or so and nameless never said a word. He knows what his kids did when they were teenagers, and he knows he deserved what he got.

Just fix the fence. It will probably cost less than $15 and it's not a hard project. While you have your skill or table saw out finish another project you've been putting off. You can be the better person in this one. Matter of factly let the neighbor know you are fixing it but tell her the next fixing is on her.
