Local news showed a locksmith truck at the embassy to help US officials get in. Also said the bldg was vacated but somehow locked from the inside.

I have ZERO doubt China has helped foment some of the domestic unrest, and ive been hoping for months to see something come to light.
But I don’t see crap about that in any of the links posted in this thread. And haven’t seen any reporting to indicate our government has publicly said anything at all on that front. All the reporting I’ve seen on the embassy closing has been about espionage and IP theft.
