I mentioned in another thread many kids will play on travel teams or transfer. Obviously most kids don’t have the means to do either which really sucks for them especially the seniors.

Best case scenario is Mid September. That’s if we go to phase 3 August 7th. If it’s phase 2 again on Aug 7 we are looking at October best case

If we would have done what was asked, we would have football this fall. Now we have to watch cornhole on ESPN. Thanks!!!!!!

This wasn't, and isn't going to end until Trump is out of the Whote House. Anyone with an IQ above their shoe size realizes that. If Hilary was President it would have been just like the swine flu, avian flu, SARS, etc some of which actually killed more people that COVID

Presumably quarantines or shutdowns for local outbreaks.

I heard a former coach who now works for LHSAA on Matt Moscona’s show say that “Phase 4” was just the offices way of describing the time after we go to Phase 3. The term had no significance. I

Eddie Bonnie wants to play. He put out a letter today, but he is at the mercy of the state, and the school districts.

I don’t trust a word that comes out of Eddie Bonine’s mouth.

Bonine doesn’t have to make the contact sports be “after getting past phase 3.” And yes that is their current stance- being in phase 3 THEN having 2 straight weeks of declining cases. No other states around here are going by that. At worst, it should be when phase 3 STARTS. I don’t know if it is Dr. Stewart or Bonine or who is making that call but that has to change. Or forget about it.

Especially for the milder contact sports like basketball and soccer.

JBE killed Louisiana high school football today by staying in phase 2. Best case scenario may be a 5 week season

if they start sept 25 they can still finish early jan....

now there may be many school systems and schools that won't field teams - that could shorten the season.

unless they relax some rules it is the best hope right now...

i just find it odd the governor's rules don't apply to LSU?
