Just a point of clarification, and feel like this needs to be posted a lot more:

There is a massive difference between BLM the organization and BLM the movement. To use a local example, there is a massive difference between the Cajun Navy that sold t-shirts and the Cajun Navy that was baws in their flat boats helping out.

I would imagine LSU supported BLM the movement, but did not donate to the BLM movement.

Well if they were smart they’d make that clarification because right now they are costing themselves a lot of money.

No their is a massive difference between support for a bunch of neo Marxist aholes who are spreading division and the support of a narrative that blacks are subject to systemic racism in 2020.

There are many who support the narrative for a variety of reasons ranging from a persons need to do the "right thing" to white guilt.

I cut some slack if someone is acting out of sympathy. I grant no slack for the ideological driven filth that wants to upend traditional institutions so they can create their neo Marxist utopia.

The kowtowing to BLM should have consequences for those institutions and people that are reflexively bending their knees and blindly supporting BLM.

Taking down Middleton was the last straw for me. Gen Middleton made great sacrifices for the US and did a tremendous job at LSU. Ignoring all of the good he did to appease a bunch of prog scum is a permanent stain on LSU.

You think maybe we should strive to make our justice system as close to fair as possible?

Let’s see how long they can function with BLM footing the bill, because obviously they don’t want our evil white Honkey money anymore

how much did you give LSU last year?

ETA: Be sure to copy us all on the long-winded email you write to LSU about how you're gonna withhold your huge donation this year

I know a few former citizens of East Germany that would question this premise.
that's great, ask them how serious Himmler was and how capable the third reich was compared to the overall threat of BLM.

Toward whom?
Because this "justification" is out of whack as well and is not grounded in knowledge.

disagree 100%. It is not my job to improve fellow Americans lives. Responsibility is something that used to be taught to kids growing up. Some time 10-40 years ago things changed and you get what we have today. A bunch of idiots who feel other people owe them something.

I mean You’re not 100% but your also very far from 100% right.

If you think everything in this world is completely fair and just you’re just ignoring a lot of shite.
what does that have anything to do with what i said.

I dont Think society should stop trying to perfect itself.

We can’t replace responsibility for self, but we also should assess our criminal justice system to make sure we’re not over policing, over sentencing, and that poor people have a chance at justice.

You talking about the little to no bail for murder and rape?

You're right that shite isn't fair but you are way fricking wrong on which direction it is going.

most decent humans think that black lives matter. Doesn't mean they are donating to the hate group. Not sure your point.

which is funny because black culture doesnt think like that. Black Culture only wants other cultures to respekt black lives, while they go on just a rapin and a killin each other.

You are making a lot of assumptions about "the system" when each situation is different. Like poor people don't get a fair chance, like judges over sentence, and like police really "over police" whatever the heck that is.

What I see is a sort of catch and release system where people who commit less serious crimes tend to be released on probation, and come back through the system over and over. Even a lot of serious offenders get released after serving little or no time. Those buzz words you used are just political talking points.

You can find exceptions about everything. Bad police, bad judges, and bad juries. But the exceptions are not the rule.

That's somewhat the attitude most Berliners had in the early 20s about that fringe group in Munich.

Minimum sentencing laws are the same in every situation.

Almost ever public defenders office is underfunded and overworked. No, poor people don’t get a fair chance.

I agree that public defenders are overworked but mainly because most people arrested -- not just what I would consider poor people -- can't really afford top notch criminal defense attorneys. Those types of attorneys can command huge fees. Money talks, but the system can't ever pay for big dollar defense attorneys for everyone. The world has always been about rich people being able to pay to get better treatment. If you have a better solution than public defenders, say it.

As to minimum sentences, I don't understand your statement. Most of the sentences, especially for youthful or first time offenders, are probation or time served if they didn't make bail. For the vast majority, by the time they actually have to do time, it is their third or fourth trip through the system.

You do know that east Germany and the Germany of ww2 aka the third Reich were completely separate entities.
