I don’t think mine has since about 10:00 AM. Outside is a sauna.

Walking outside is like walking in the bottom of a Motel 6 pool on Venus.

Mine has shut off several times today. We have a bigger unit than what my house needs. I spent most of the day outside today doing yard work anyway

There’s no way anyone’s home ac can keep up with 100 degrees feeling like 112

Have never seriously thought of moving from South Louisiana, but this heat has me entertaining those thoughts.

Move to Minnesota and let’s see how you like those winters.

You’ll be back in Louisiana within a few weeks

Ours kept up but didn't shut off much. We have a 5 ton Trane and our house is about 2375 sq ft so possibly slightly bigger than this house needs based on the chart below.

My downstairs keeps up at around 72 but my upstairs struggles to stay at 75 during the day. I’ll get it down to 68-67 at night upstairs, downstairs isn’t that much of a problem

Mine kicks off all the time but I keep it at 75 and just run ceiling fans. I feel for those people that keep it at 68 and wonder why their shite breaks down all the time

Yall need more insulation or attic ventilation. Mine turns off about twice an hour on even the hottest days. Run 20 minutes off 10 minutes.

We are one story with live oaks in the yard so perhaps that's why. I can usually hold 71 24/7 during the summer on all but the hottest days. It was definitely hot af though. I hate this time of year.

Maybe so, we’re 2 story around 3500 sq ft with ZERO shade or trees and our electricity bill is levelized and stays around $420-$475 a month.
