that I was completely unaware of. Turns out I have an adult child in his 30's now from a one night stand from when I was a teenager. Never ever knew. Never saw the girl again and went on to college and married, have a family.
Haven't had a conversation with him, but his wife contacted me to let me know he's out there. What should I be worried about? Any advice from anyone that's ever been in this situation? Curious if this has happened to anyone now that Ancestry/23& Me is so popular.

Wife knows and understands I was very young and never knew. She's not upset at all.

I’d get a test done to be sure before I got emotionally invested

Good luck, I wouldn’t know how to process if this were to happen to me

If his name is Sue this would make a good country song.

Reach out to him. He’s an established adult now. Sounds like everyone accepts it and there isn’t any grudges.
