Has anyone tanked a TV show like Ashton Kutcher in Two and a Half Men?

It’s sad how far the show fell when Charlie Sheen was fired. He was literally made to play the role of a womanizing alcoholic. When Ashton Kutcher stepped in the main character basically became a hipster and all the humor dried up. Essentially he lowered that series into the grave.
Can you think of any other replacement/addition to a show that had a disastrous effect?

After what was a great show for 2 years, Season 3 was absolute garbage and this dude was one of the main reasons why.

It's amazing how much Tory hurt saved by the bell. It was the total opposite of Leah Remeni.

Yup. Season 4 was actually a delight, probably bc they knew the irreversible damage had already been done in S3 so they went back to their roots with over-the-top YOLO story lines at it worked.
