My Covid-19 story

About 15 days ago I started to feel like crap. Not like the flu that puts you on your arse, just felt really blah. I had a slight temperature, never got above 99.5. About 13 days ago, the cough started. It's by far the worst part of the Covid. I went and got tested, and 10 days ago, the health dept. let me know I was positive. The only other symptom I noticed was that I was getting out of breath doing simple tasks. Like I would feel like I just went for a jog after after doing something as mundane as taking a shower. But as of today I feel fine. I still get a coughing spell every once in a while. All in all, I feel like this illness is way over hyped! It's slightly worse than a cold. Like really, this is what shut the world down?

It’s not about you, it’s about the community. We’re all in this together

Why do you want to kill grandpa?

Keep in mind that it may really depend on your age, overall health and physical conditioning. If you were out of breath, imagine how it may affect someone who has pneumonia, emphysema, heart failure or other cardiac issues, etc.
I am NOT saying that this whole thing hasn't been dealt with idiotically. I AM saying that it seems to be a serious illness that causes damage even in healthy individuals (I'd be curious to see how you feel in a few months and how your lungs heal) and, most importantly, we don't understand well at all and have no vaccines or medicine to combat it with.

Wifes 94 year old grandmother had pneumonia back in Nov. and was in icu for almost a month. She was also diagnosed with congestive heart failure and is diabetic. Her son contracted Covid, so she was tested.
Positive.
First thoughts in anyone's mind, is she's doomed.
That was 2 weeks ago.
She has shown no signs of any sickness. I'm amazed to say the least.
Chemistry is different in all of us and only God has the gameplan.

Have you made out your last will and testament? Just asking for your wife.

Glad you are well now but they just added you multiple times plus all your family...and maybe friends...perhaps multiple times for them as well...as positive cases to pad the numbers.

Make sure you have plenty of vitamin D in you either by taking capsules or sunbathing for 20 minutes or so.
People with vitamin D deficiency get hit exceptionally hard.

The newest thing I hear now is we dont know what long term effects it will have on your body and other organs than lungs. Heard that from several people tonight. Son in their minds, we need to put you in the future death pool.

Very interesting is that the biggest culprit for being a serious case is inflammation in the lining of blood vessels. #1 cause is hypertension and the #1 cause of hypertension is high fructose corn syrup. Several Eastern European countries have completely outlaws HFCS in any product, to support their sugar beet industry. These countries have low rates (as in not serious enough to even be tested)
