The Sphere.

It gets shite on by a lot of people, but personally, I love it.

Time Trap on Netflix. I'm not going stay it's incredible but it's definitely under the radar and has some good stuff for sci-fi junkies.

Equilibrium is a great one that flew under the radar.

Came in to suggest Coherence, but a few have already gotten it.

"The Endless" is good and kind of in the same realm as Coherence.

Predestination is VERY good and hasn't gotten much talk on this board.

"The Man From Earth" is very low budget and only fringe sci-fi, but very under the radar and fairly smart.

Frequently Asked Questions About Time Travel is more light hearted.

Arrival (2016)

Not sure if under the radar, but I don't remember hearing about it when it was in theaters.

How under the radar do you want?

Serenity, of course, is the movie sequel to Firefly.

How about an Indy film... Safety not guaranteed ?

If ya have Amazon Prime, try The Vast of Night.

Or Sky Captain, and the world of tomorrow.
You did good

@Freauxzen... just got home. Cutting on Coherence right now.

Primer.

Was coming to post this. Maybe the most realistic time travel movie ever made.

quote:

I'd argue his follow up - Upstream Color - is even better.

I'd argue against that, but it's been forever since I've seen it, and I don't remember much about it other than being confused (in a bad way, rather than a good way like with Primer) and not being able to follow what they were trying to attempt. I believe I watched it twice and both times it fell short for me.

Also, I see Sunshine mentioned...that one is almost in a similar category as Jeepers Creepers for me. It is AWESOME for the firs 2/3 or so, and then goes completely off the rails and just turns weird, and not in a good way. Still worth a watch though.

I watched that one last month and really enjoyed it. Wasn't crazy about the ending, but those kinds of movies are always hard to end well.

Randomly watched that one years ago and really liked it.

Also saw Moon mentioned. Moon is fantastic. Highly recommend.
