I've seen a couple of interesting threads on here about Civil War 2. I now believe it is inevitable. I believe it happens in the next 4 years minimum no matter who wins presidency. If Trump wins, the left will triple down with destruction. If Biden or whoever is running in November wins, the agenda to remove guns and silence conservatives will move in warp speed. My question is what is the tipping point?

My thoughts are when all states are pushing for guns like Virginia.

If the left goes for the guns, that will be the tipping point.

I’ve said for about 5 years now they will come for your bible and your guns before it’s all said and done. The constitution will be gutted.

It's not in the cards. There are not enough hungry people, but there are plenty of ignoramuses who think the cult of Marxism is really cool who want to go through the motions.

Problem with that is they'd also have to go after Muslims and Jews and any other religion for that matter

I don't see that playing out too well for them

By February everything goes back to normal. After he’s reelected they’ll throw their tantrums, have some protests around inauguration time, and all this shite ends. Them we’ll look back and say “remember when it looked like we’d have another Civil War?”

The hunger is coming with the oncoming depression. Government can’t bail everyone out forever.

OP and all like-minded folks are just plain wrong. We are not having any civil war or boogaloo or race war. The Far Right seems to want that as they talk about it all the time. But go ahead and believe any fantasy you want.

I don't think things would get so dire as to come to a civil war between the Two Americas (Red and Blue), but I absolutely agree with your sentiment about the pending election. It doesn't matter who wins: mass civil unrest will take place.

I take solace in my pleasant interactions IRL with people on both sides of the spectrum. Things aren't as terrible as they seem on the internet. I'm optimistic enough to believe the vast majority people will not take it to direct conflict on the streets over disagreements about social policies.

I hope you're right but I think the left has gone too far left to turn back without causing the right to engage.

November 3rd...

Trump wins, riots...

Trump losses, radicals feel empowered and riot with even more ridiculous demands.

It’s inevitable at this point.

They won’t stop if he wins. There will be no less than 3 impeachment trials over the next few years. They will continue to get bolder and bolder. They don’t have rules. They don’t have souls.

Most people- left or right- will get up and go to work on the Wednesday morning following the election. Most people live nicely and have worked hard for their earnings. Most people are not crazy enough to piss away their careers (and a ticket to a high standard of living) over something like this.

The questions remains as to how many people will be irate enough to want to go out and start fighting other people. The groups full of people who feel like they have nothing to lose are the ones you have to watch out for.

Plausible, and likely. When street thugs take over a police headquarters, and the government's reaction is to 'defund the police'...what message does that send to those who have people that they love dearly, in their circle of responsibility. There are no bullets at the stores around here. That speaks volumes. That 'John Mark' video put me over the edge. Head in sand won't cut it.

Everyone seems to be saying it but no one is doing anything about it. No one will.

Who’s going to do it? You? You, Lt. Weinberg?

We live in a world where everyone is all talk behind a computer. In order for there to be a civil war it takes a large group taking up arms against its adversary. I don’t see that large group forming.

States won’t do anything because they are politically divided within. By creation I might add.

It’s not a civil war but a revolution and the liberals have the upper hand in that so far.

I think land redistribution comes first. They wont bother with busting into suburbia to confiscate guns early on. Too messy and dangerous. That will come later.

Instead, they will go after landowners first. People who live in the country, who have acreage. Just like what happened in South Africa and Zimbabwe.

Do you really think they will stop at statues and the national anthem? What they really want is your land and wealth.

If biden wins, that will be the first thing they do in 1st qtr 2021. Of course it will be called reparations.

A single individual with the mindset of the guy that shot Scalise...could take a night scope, on a dark night, and shoot out the electric transformer in a Black community...and wreak a havoc so powerful, that in today's inflammatory society...it would go viral and snowball into a full blown racial dogfight within the space of a day, oa. Hell, Charles Manson thought this stuff up a half century ago; are we too naïve to believe that there are not actors out there would love to see it go to the street? Book it...they are there. Listen to that 'Right will win the coming civil war' Video by the John Mark dude. A handful of smart and ruthless and committed actors can kick off a civil war in the space of day. All localized...and not with grand armies fighting battles for territory.

And honest assessment of the challenges we face, is our only hope of avoiding calamity. It is - IMO - underestimate the commitment, power and likelihood of those FEW bad actors.

Hell, I've depressed my own self. I'm done. Hope I can sleep. Lord have mercy.
