College football players have been speaking out and exercising their power of late. Mississippi State running back Kylin Hill is the latest to do so.

Hill is one of the most productive players returning in the SEC. He rushed for 1,350 yards and 10 touchdowns last season and has scored 21 total touchdowns in three seasons.

But Hill might not be adding to his scoring total this fall. This afternoon, he responded to a tweet regarding the Mississippi state flag and said that if the emblem is not changed, he won’t be suiting up for the Bulldogs anymore.

“Either change the flag or I won’t be representing this State anymore ?? & I meant that,” Hill wrote. “I’m tired.” LINK

Bye.

Have fun sitting out a year unless you can lobby them NCAA that the flag is worth a free transfer.

So he commits to this school damn well knowing this was their flag and has been his entire life.

*sigh*

This fake fricking outrage is ridiculous.

I can almost guarantee you they will allow him to transfer. NCAA is nothing more than a sham

The difference is that he is now a player with a proven track record, so he thinks he is bigger than the whole state of MS.

Playing at arguably the number three program in the state don’t make that happen.

Did he express the same concern about the flag when deciding to go to the school? Why the concern now?

When he signed to play there, I’m sure he was thrilled that he’d be able to play football for an SEC school and get a free education. And he obviously had no problem with the state flag at that time.

What’s changed?

These dummies don't realize that college football will continue with or without them. The only person they are hurting is themselves. But of course it will be the system's fault for not providing opportunities to succeed

If you think the NCAA will make him sit for a year then you're delusional.

Probably not. They don't teach shite in schools anymore. Kids that are literally retarded graduate public high school.

That’s the very definition of thinking you are more important than you really are.

I’m sure they would do that but putting your future in the hands of the NCAA is stupid as frick because they are capricious to say the least.

What may have flown last year may not fly tomorrow.

If you care about that, you are looking for reasons to leave.

Bye.
