Then everyone should kneel and pray with them.

Frankly I don’t like kneeling, but I could respect it as a form of protest that garners publicity. I just hate that they’re protesting a fairytale.

The players have every right to express themselves on political issues.
They are old enough to fight and die in wars and if kneeling is their form of first amendment expression, they have every right to do it.

Wh is the national anthem played to begin with?

Literally started in baseball games - World Series in 1981. Through the course of WWII it was played before games and was extremely popular. It became commonplace from that point on and literally became a pre-game ritual.

Think of the patriotism during WWI and II - the height of patriotism, so it doesn't surprise me it developed from there.

Unfortunately, the SEC coaches would kneel with the players and the crowd is made up of so many bleeding heart lefty liberals - there will be no boo'ing allowed.

Nice thought though.

Maybe in fake SEC country like Lexington. Down here? Bet

Penn State also allowed “rhythmic slapping” in the showers for years.

Didn’t make that right either.

That should really help their donations and attraction for new students if they want to be more like Missouri.

It is time to get rid of a bunch of Marxists infesting campuses. Just get rid of the useless majors and that will be a start.

I hope for chaos. Let the crowd start booing and then the players get pissed and start running around close to the barriers between the field and the stands. Grabbing their crotch and flipping birds, etc..

It doesn’t have to be played. But it is played.
