Do you really think the fans are going to sit there and watch these kids “express” themselves during the national anthem? These stadiums will eventually be empty. Donations and fan support will go bye bye.
I’ve drawn a line in the sand...if LSU or the SEC allows any political bs to take place, I’m done. EVERY season ticket holder I’ve spoken to has said the same.

Sure they do when they start taking care of themselves!
At this point they are living off the University and more than likely their parents. Not that my kids ever would kneel, but as long as I am supporting them and paying for their education, there is certain level of behavior I expect from them.
If the university tells them not to knell, they have every right to tell them that and if the player decides to kneel anyway, let them pull their scholarship.

Football is still huge but I think it has reached it’s zenith. Fewer kids want to play it. Concern over injuries and brain damage. In college, it seems to be trending to a more regional footprint as the southeast schools dominate. The west coast is not a factor anymore and fan support has and will diminish.
Add in a huge dose of unwanted wokeness, and more fans will lose interest. It’s not good for the health of the game.
