Here is my question. Had one of us who was armed walked up and intervened and shot this punk, would we be charged? I'd guess yes.
Further, consider if that someone was me, who is too old to reasonably fight a big strong punk like this.
I'd still probably try and stop this punk, even if I had to shoot him. And I ain't one to brag or boast but it's time for folks to fight back, stand up for what's right.

1000% agree. That is shameful to me. As i get older I find myself of the mindset that sticks and stones may break my bones but words will never hurt me.
Too many crazy people out there, and words don't mean shite to me. That said, once you put your hands on me or my loved ones all bets are off. I'd rather die then lay there like a bitch while someone stood over me and hit me.

Bigpete’s point is that everyone should be treated with the same courtesy. The guy who made a comment about “blacks overplaying their hand” used the actions of one thug to make a statement on the collective mentality of 42 million people.
If someone had said “what is wrong with white people???” in response to Dylann Roof’s actions, you’d feel the same way and you’d be right.

It seems to be a troubling trend with years of emasculation of Western white men.
When I worked in the merchant marine, black sailors wouldn't even leave the ship when we docked in Odessa, Ukraine, because any issue experienced on the street almost always left them on the deficit side of business.
