Seemed optimistic on having full stands for football. Said if no football season wouldn’t make “draconian” cuts of programs. I love this man as our athletic director. Let’s ride baws

Nice to know he doesn’t have another school down the road he might go to. I’m assuming like O this is his dream job working for his state school.

LSU will be fine. There’s enough money in the program to sustain a year even without any TV money. (I assume if anything happens to negate the season ESPN and the likes have reruns that I’m sure the schools have some rights to and will air CFB on saturdays regardless of live or not)
But the “cupcakes” that everyone loves to hate on being scheduled depend on those million dollar checks from P5 schools. That game they go to every year as 35+ underdogs covers their program for the year.
P5 will be fine. But ultimately could prove almost fatal for other schools and maybe push much faster to reshape CFB towards a condensed landscape that it’s already moving towards.

If it means football then so be it but I can't imagine wearing a mask in 90+ degree weather for 4 hours is sound advice.

I imagine a lot of people will walk in with a mask and take it off after getting in. I don't see them policing that if even 1/10th of the attendees decide to do so.

Good luck with that. You don't seriously think that you are the only person that would want to sell? Last year people were selling for cost and under. If they force everyone to wear mask you will be able to to get tickets pennies on the dollar.
