I’m happy all players will register to vote. LSU football actively pushing “change” in a presidential election year is absurd.

Tigerdroppings might as well Combine the Tiger Rant and Political Talk boards because they are intertwined now.

So Coach O wants to change the governor of Louisiana? The mayor of Baton Rouge?

That was the slogan for my kid's 6th grade class last year.

Did these kids really just explore the concept of voting?

So they are insinuating that Joe Biden will solve their problems of police brutality and alleged racism? Good luck with that

Yep. It's one thing to encourage the students to exercise their right to vote. It's quite another for the UNIVERSITY to encourage students to "be the change", which implies the university feels some sort of "change" is necessary.

Yes LSU wants everyone to #GeauxVote...unless it’s against their candidate in which case they’ll tell you to go frick off and kill yourself.

I'm a huge proponent of voting, but where's the change if they vote out Democrats only to vote in more Democrats?

Trump (or any president for that matter) has nothing to do with the problems in Baltimore, St. Louis, Detroit, Minneapolis, Chicago, etc..

While I agree that the message comes off poorly, it MAY not have been their intent. They may simply say that voting is how we make change, not for a specific one.

That said, LSU football nor the AD as a while should not be getting involved in political speech as a government agency. I don’t care if they are self supported.

I wish they’d add something about being an informed voter.

Sadly as an alum, it is beginning to feel like it will be for me.

I refuse to support an organization of people that actively hates me.

frick them and the horse they rode in on. I do not need sports in my life.

LSU is starting to piss me off like the Saints. They are skating on thin ice. Especially, when they can't even fill their big arse stadium except for maybe a game or 2 a year. They should tread lightly and really think about who their donors are.

So LSU has co-opted a civil rights movement to advance their political agenda? It’s either that or they do they consider it a political movement.

Not following your logic. They clearly want change, the best way to do that is vote. Should LSU not support them “to be the change” , then go vote?

Would you rather them supporting looting and riots? I’m confused

LSU isn’t encouraging them to change, just encouraging if you want “change “ the way to do that is vote

Agree LSU should not be supporting any “movement” or political issue. I don’t feel they are with this message but I guess you can spin it however you’d like

That is a very charitable interpretation of this whole deal imo.

Let's not kid ourselves, they have a very clear idea of who to vote for and I can promise you it is not a small government libertarian type or Republican.
