I mean... it’s not illegal to encourage someone to go vote. Reading that article though, using the death of George Floyd to get people to vote for “change in their community” during a presidential election - insinuating somehow it’s the fault of the president everyone has lost their minds - seems misleading at the least.

And the once upon a time fans who supported this whole house of cards to cheer for our warlords vs your warlords. Feeding, housing them in luxury and paying them and giving them fake degrees will become a shadow of what it is now. Paying outrageous money to the meanest sons of guns we can find to manage them and the slickest talkers to get them to be our warlords instead of yours, will no longer an issue in people lives.
Every ball fan I've spoken too says the same thing....I'm out when the kneeling and the outrages begin. Some are shocked that many if not most athletes dislike or hold them in great disdain even with their support and funding and once in a lifetime oppty. And the ones I know say one more thing "and surprisingly I'm ok with it"......Some will hang in there but the gold rush will be over. And that is probably a positive thing. High schools and colleges need to go back to the fundamentals of educating and preparing kids for real life and throw the openly advertising and name building out the door, Student fees are paying for a crazy amount of this whole insane charade. And while we are at it to heck with the whole Falcons, Saints, Cowboys thing as well. They hold you in contempt as well.

That is called buying a vote moron. That is why people have a problem with democrats riding around in a van, handing out McDonald's to homeless people, to get a ride to the polling place.
It is illegal to buy votes regardless of what guise you use to do it

How did you get this...
Election day should be a federal holiday. If the gov isn’t going to do the right thing on that front, I’ve got no problem with private organizations choosing to give their employees the day off. Good for them.

Not just that, how is a city cop accidentally killing a drug thug POTUS material on the world stage.
Excessive/ unreasonable/ appropriate/ etc. use of force or not - I’d bet the farm the guy didn’t restrain George with the intent to kill him. So this accidental ‘murder’ (which happens relatively frequently regardless of who is president) has become a global issue somehow
Got a little off topic

How many college athletes are eligible to vote at a precinct near campus? Don't you have to be considered a resident of that location to be registered to vote there? You have to do more than attend the school and live on campus to be considered a resident, don't you? Even if you want an apartment off campus that's not automatically a qualification for residency/voting.

Yes, those that go vote will probably drive themselves or catch a ride with a friend.
So how many college kids at LSU from out of state actually take the time to register to vote in La. you think? Besides, I'm sure every state has early write-in voting in their home state if an athlete was serious about voting.
This is just another left-wing attempt to pad the numbers their way. I know I wouldn't want out of state college kids making political decisions in my local elections. Neither should you.

College athletes don't have cars? Why I was in school, they all had way nicer rides than me.
