In high school I was riding around with my parents figuring out what to eat for lunch. Suggested we should find some lesbian food. My parents kept giggling asking what I was talking about. Only after repeating myself about 10 times did I realize what I was saying, said Lebanese and buried my face in my phone.

We ended up not getting either of my suggestions

Just messaged you
Is there a guy/ place around town that can replace a drive belt on a Troy bilt riding mower? I called around town and no one seems to be able to do it. The only place that said they could is highland hardware with a 2 month wait.

I know it’s probably easy for capable hands. I spent an hour the other day trying to do it myself before I buster my knuckles and cursed enough to say screw it

Yale professors don't know what a woman is
Does anyone know if the iPhone 11 has the capability to control a not-smart tv? I’ve googled and am guessing I’m not phrasing the question correctly. My last phone was a Samsung that had an app that could connect to most TVs. Cant figure out which app I need to get to make this phone work as every app so far wants me to connect to the same network.

Any help is appreciated.

Not just that, how is a city cop accidentally killing a drug thug POTUS material on the world stage.

Excessive/ unreasonable/ appropriate/ etc. use of force or not - I’d bet the farm the guy didn’t restrain George with the intent to kill him. So this accidental ‘murder’ (which happens relatively frequently regardless of who is president) has become a global issue somehow

Got a little off topic

You are wrong. For street dwellers, the street is their domicile. Stabbing someone in your domicile is a domestic dispute. A social services case worker should be phoned.

I actually lolled reading that
I mean... it’s not illegal to encourage someone to go vote. Reading that article though, using the death of George Floyd to get people to vote for “change in their community” during a presidential election - insinuating somehow it’s the fault of the president everyone has lost their minds - seems misleading at the least.
I might be wrong but I feel like the psycho street dweller stabbing someone could be a reason an officer of the law responded to these types of calls on the first place.

While I’m at it, why is this even a problem? Maybe I live in a bubble (full disclosure - I do live in my bubble) but I’ve never heard anyone complain about a cop telling a bum to move along, or break up a domestic dispute, etc. Seems like people want “reform” for the sake of it

Saying “things were just different” is also total bullshite. Owning other humans as property has always been pretty shitty. So things weren’t that different. People were just being shitty

I get what you’re saying but, to an extent, I think it is fair to say things were different. People did own other people in the past and they always had until relatively recently. Not justifying it but life was different then just as it will be 100 years from now. No one knows which views we all hold now that will be perceived as savagery 2-4 generations from now.

Right or wrong, I don’t think it’s fair to use today’s moral standards to judge our ancestors

Unpopular opinion - Just because someone says it doesn’t mean it’s true
quote:

They can start with attitude. You’re lying to everyone and yourself if you’ve never ran into a cop or have seen a cop on video being a dick because he think he’s untouchable.

If we are asking for reform based on attitude can we add The DMV to the list? I re-read your post and replaced cop with ‘insert any government employee here’ and it still works
The internet provides a tool to make life easier for the majority of people. I think a problem is people read a post/ story/ tweet/ etc and assume the rest of the world thinks the same way when in reality that’s not the case (at least in my privileged opinion).

Maybe a better explanation is the internet is good. Social media is less good.
