Do you know any white people who committed a crime like a DUI, theft, taking pills, etc. and someone in their family made a call and it went away?
That.
That.

For it to be systemic, it has to be ingrained in law. It can't just be that someone is a racist, or some company is racist. It has to be a law or a public policy that discriminates against a race.

it was a mechanism to keep them on the plantation and destroy the family unit.
So then its systemic racism. Theres your example you're welcome.

Please read that quote, then read the disparity in jail times based on the same drug and tell me they were not targeting African Americans.
Honest question - didn't poor white users get caught up in the same "system?"

-Black women are financially incentivized into having children out of wedlock
-Young black kids are not held to any kind of behavior or academic standard in public school. They develop an attitude that they are entitled to act how they want with little boundaries
-The idea that no matter how hard they try or work, they will be held down by whites is implanted and repeated constantly by the leftist authority figures in their lives(teachers, politicians, etc) therefore reinforcing the idea that learning is worthless
-When they get shuttled through to graduation they are directed to college. The ones that go are unprepared. They are told that their bad performance isnt a result of bad education through HS or laziness but rather because the curriculum is geared towards whites.
-The ones that dont go to college try to find jobs but struggle because they struggle to do basic things like read well, write well, speak well, and stay on task...the things kids in proper schools learn.
-This reinforces the idea that they cant succeed no matter how hard they try because of whites holding them down...that idea implanted in their minds by white leftist educators
-Some give up, resort to crime and drugs leading to increased encounters with police
-Due to laws like Biden's crime bill, many are put away for non-violent drug crimes
-In prison they lose hope and are radicalized into a more violent way of life
1. Holy shite this is a ton of speculation with zero facts.
2. I am in no way giving democrats a pass in this. They amped up the drug war as much as republicans. I am in no way supporting Joe Biden, I still don't know who to vote for.
3. Again you put one factual statement in there, Biden's Crime Bill.
shite like

Is assuming that every African American that attends college drops out. It is incredibly racist and if you cant see that then I cant help you.

Absolutely but not nearly at the rate African Americans did.

I've known black and white people make this happen. What is your point?

Almost everything I posted can be backed by numbers or public policy. No im not going to research it all, you are free to discount what I posted if you choose to.

White women benefit the most from affirmative action

I don't think this is systemic racism. It's more like systemic elitism.
Question - my 17 yo kid gets caught speeding and drinking, and his NAIA level college basketball career is in jeopardy so my brother, a criminal lawyer, makes some calls to the sheriff's office to try to make it disappear.
Lebron James 17 yo kid gets caught doing the same thing, and his college career at Duke is in jeopardy so Lebron has his people make calls to the governor, mayor, sheriff, and has Nancy Pelosi and Kamala Harris make a few calls, too.
What are the chances my kid gets off and Lebron's doesn't?

War on Poverty
Destroyed the black family
Lowered poverty rate by 2% in 50yrs
“We will own the N-word vote for 200years
(Black community were split on party lines, like every other race...yes they were polled before civil rights...after war on poverty, +92% dem)
That is systemic racism

But isn't that more about poverty than race? Might also have to do with the criminal element related to crack distribution in the inner city versus the same for poor small towns in Appalachia ... just a guess, but I wonder.

Oh boy.
Yeah...this is just dumb. The Shire Reeve (sheriff) system has been in existence ....1000 yrs. More accurate to say its based in collecting taxes than slave patrols

Systemic Definition :relating to a system, especially as opposed to a particular part.
"the disease is localized rather than systemic"
Democrats oppose everything American...

Therein lies the paradox for the libertarian. If a private industry wants to spend it's own money for AA programs, who are you or I to stop them.

While I agree the Dems are the worst thing going for blacks and have been for decades, is this systemic racism? Maybe I'm not understanding the concept of systemic racism, but to me disparate outcomes of a policy not crafted or applied on racist terms does not equal systemic racism.

No it is mostly based on Urban policing as created in Europe and then adopted in the United States in the Progressive Era.
And your quote by Ehrilchman has been generally seen as highly hyperbolic or just wrong by most historians.

Come on, this entire conversation about race deals in general statements. Asians have the highest grad rates in our university system, then whites, then hispanics, then blacks. There's clearly some truth there about being unprepared.
"White and Asian students completed their programs at similar rates -- 62 percent and 63.2 percent, respectively -- while Hispanic and black students graduated at rates of 45.8 percent and 38 percent, respectively."

No, it is not and most certainly NOT in the manner you are attempting to display it... I am sorry your ignorance clouds your judgement...
