My opinion on Ryan Clark is he is a black angry racist who is always using double standards with racism. He talks about more black coaches on LSU’s staff but if a white guy would of said that about having more white coaches it would been racist. Also, he Is only interested in benefiting himself with people and has nothing to do with anyone unless you can help him or make him look good

He is just trying to make money. People don't usually have morals when money is involved.

I hear you man and I think a lot of people are getting tired of it. There’s a disconnect between the 48-49 million on twitter and the other 280 million people in this country.

Just because we may disagree on smaller points like a LeBron or Ryan Clark tweet doesn't necessarily mean that we disagree on the big picture. It seems like there's too much us vs them going on out there and too many people drawing lines and picking sides.

What a black man in America cannot do that a white man can? A black man was president of the United States. A black man can achieve anything they want in America. This is the stupidest thing Ryan Clark has ever said.

Agree with this. I know Ryan and he has had direct influence and contact with my kid. This is beyond disappointing. This statement is fraudulent coming from a guy whose kids live elite lives in this great country.

I don’t put any personal credence into anything Lebron says (or any athlete, for that matter), but recognize that millions of people do. If Lebron wants change, he should sit down with Bob Woodson for an hour and put one iota of his ideas into practice which would do more to undo the damage to race relations that occurred from Obama’s term than anything. The stances that LBJ, and now the MSM and the rest of the people who have lost their damn minds take perpetuate the Ferguson Effect tenfold; they’re just too ignorant to realize they’re making the problems they are bitching about much worse.

My attitude....

If they don’t like this country then please leave. I’ll start a Go Fund Me and I’ll ya for all their place tickets.
Go see how much worse it is everywhere else on this planet. We live in BY FAR the greatest nation.

His kid is a shrimp no chance he ever gets paid to play. RC has lost respect of many followers who were proud of his accomplishments. Myself included.

Well my statement applies to the poster that questioned whether Lebron "had it rough growing up". It's very simple.
Any human being with a functional brain knows poverty is not limited just to the black community fwiw.

And this is precisely what i'm trying to point out. Some people are entrenched in their views without any prospect of looking at it from another's point of view.

If you can comprehend the message, he is NOT crying about how bad HE has it, he is simply using his platform to speak for those that voice goes unheard. This is a very simple concept he's doing. It's not complicated. But again, we hear what we wanna hear, and we see what we wanna see.

Again, for those that have a functioning brain, a statement was made as to whether Lebron "had it rough" growing up. I simply gave the poster a brief summary of what Lebron went through as a kid.

Lebron BEAT the odds. NOWHERE in my response did I place BLAME or FAULT on anyone. And I challenge you to find where I said it was the fault of white people or ANY PEOPLE for that matter.

what he is doing is SPEAKING out for victims like Mr. FLOYD.
As in most cases like this, today's victim was yesterdays criminal with a history of drugs and violence. Decisions and reactions don't happen in a vacuum. The problem with not admitting the "victim" may have been a predator will lead the mob to one conclusion when the police are found to be innocent. EVERYONE MUST BE RACIST!

Also as is most cases, the person doesn't get the life snuffed out of him by a cop who refuses to let him breathe while handcuffed and non-combative. 99% of police officers would have handled that differently IMO. Unfortunately, Chauvin CHOSE differently.

The very first obligation of the officer when arriving on a scene is to de-escalate the situation, then control the situation, it sure as hell not to choke someone to death that you have in custody.

quote:

You see, a good officer cannot ASSUME the call he/she is responding too that a person MAY HAVE BEEN a predator. Now once the situation is in control, he may find out that, but when you arrive on a scene initially, you don't know whose a predator and who is not.

EVERYONE MUST BE RACIST!

You're entitled to your opinion.

Amen to that.

He is blaming folks of another race for the individual's mistakes, or the bad decisions his parents made.
If we, even on this board, would quit using the terms,"they" and "them" and start using he and she we would improve relations.
I can bet I grew up in much greater poverty than Ryan and Lebron. I didn't blame anyone.
In America, don't blame, get off your arse and change. The opportunity is there and there are free dollars and human assistance as aid.
