Brees doesn't want to screw up his nbc deal. He caved because he saw all that $$ that Romo got from nbc and he was going to lose the locker room before he went to camp.. Walter payton man of the year award, his legacy is tarnished in alot of people's eyes. I see alot of saints fans turning on him because he stood up to Trump. All this flip flopping by drew brees..smh.

People may dismiss this post, but it’s sorta true. Granted, Drew may be just as good or even better, but Romo is amazing. How many times has Romo dissected a play in real time and been 100% spot on? Maybe Drew can verbalize the same thing and deliver it better, but behind center and behind the mic are not the same.

How much money does one man need? Don’t see the need to sell out your values and country when you already have more money just in restaurants than you can spend in several lifetimes. Brees looks like a complete pussy now. You can’t rehabilitate that.

Thing about Romo announcing was during his first game I thought ok he sounds goofy. By the second game I was hooked...think he's great.

He no longer has a broadcasting deal.
He will not even be in the HOF.

I think it was Brittany more than Drew. Especially after that stupid statement she put out. But Drew is obviously not the alpha once thought to have been.

He can’t win. He will be criticized whatever he does now. Kneel or not kneel, can’t win. Not the way you want to see him go, but it’s time to walk away. A little late, but walk away before some disgruntled LB takes him away.
