You have to convince the 32 owners of that (well, I guess way more of you include the Packers)

There should not be a white person in the NBA or NFL at any level. Why would you work for a company that hates you simply because of the color of your skin?

There is a 70 second video of the major black athletes in the NFL pointing out it took 10 days for the NFL to respond to George Floyd.

They had nothing at all to do with Floyd. Why does their timing matter at all?

They may not have anything to do with George Floyd, but they can help with the fight against systemic racism and downright brutality by police towards young Black men that Colin Kaepernick was trying so hard (and in vain) to get them to recognize. Now, they recognize it, the injustice towards Blacks and now they wanna do something about it, but they still treat Kaepernick as if he were a plague. Lol

Roger Goodell sucks.

But very few NFL fans give a shite about the NFLs response time to this.

. Shouldn’t have responded at all. He isn’t a player or tied to the league in anyway.

But people like Dungy. Goodell is paid to be the bad guy and take the heat off the owners.

It’s a joke goodell still has a job
He’s mishandled several league and team issues
He has enemies like kraft jerry Jones and saints organization
He’s making money for owners but any commish could have done that
I think dungy would be good for the league but I’m not sure I would touch that job if I was him

A big part of Goodell’a job is being a public punching bag for the Owners.

Idk if Tony can do the same thing.

When will people realize that Goodell is just a mouthpiece for the owners?

Agree. It takes effort to push past the normal gut reaction and really care about seeing things from a different perspective. I’m learning this first hand for myself.

It’s not even a matter of fully agreeing. It’s just trying, truly trying, to understand.
