Some of you are real helicopter parents huh? Both of my kids are very mature and know to never unlock the door for anyone. And guess what... sometimes... I don't make them wear a helmet when they ride their bikes.

It's all fun and games until Karen kidnaps your kids to teach your wife a lesson.
I couldn't care less what people do with their kids, but don't cry when they've gone missing while you "run in the store for one item". 5 yrs old is too young to be left unattended in a car for 5 mins. And I have a five yr old and realize what a pain in the arse it can be to not just let him sit there while I run in.

If my child wasn’t mentally retarded or a hellspawn, yes. I always just had a fun time messing with the radio when my mom left me there when I was 8.

Then you’ve overly sheltered your child as a helicopter parent.

You would also trust every other person walking around to not to take the kids?
What, they’re going to bash in the window and no one do something or call the cops? I don’t know where you live, but the location you’re describing where this is plausible is the Congo.

Even if you are fine with paragraph one, you can't be feeling confident in random strangers. And two kids that young would be totally helpless. All it takes is one bad person and one minute.
OK, Karen, I’m sure you’re a big hit with your daughter’s friends.

I saw a guy leave his about 5 year old daughter alone in his vehicle at Home Depot yesterday with the keys in the ignition.

Why did you start this thread it you are going to be defensive about a differing opinion? I don't give a flying frick what you do with your kids, that's up to you. I'm just telling you what I would/wouldn't be willing to do.

You are lucky that guy in the white van didn’t steal your kids

You should give your kids the chance to get injured. If you don’t, then they won’t learn and become pussies like apparently their parents are.

Doesn’t matter when the AC is running
If she would have been that concerned & got close enough to the car she would have known it was running
People need to mind their own fricking business

If it wasn't for this "Karen" fad, most would agree that the kid shouldn't have been left in the car. But some gotta stick to poli-script with this lame arse karen shite.

You don't have a kid, so you are obviously clueless. I figured you would have grown up a little by now BPT, but it appears you are still an immature shite.

So as long as someone calls the cops all would be fine? I've actually seen someone steal a vehicle, at a gas station, with a kid in it, while the mother went inside to pay (that's less than a 5 minute trip by the way). They then wrecked the car, with the kids in it. So you can sit here and pretend it can NEVER happen, but it most certainly has, and I witnessed it.

Probably too young to leave in the car, especially if you live in this stupid arse state full of criminals.
I’m torn though on if I would condemn your wife, because I fricking hate these Karen’s
It's funny how the narrative has changed over time to me. When I was 8 years old, we'd be gone on our bikes all day long and our parents didn't know where we were and had no way to get in touch with us.

Let’s also be honest, you see 2 kids and a dog in a car with no parent. What do you do? We don’t know if they have been there 5 minutes or 50 minutes.
I assume that other people know what they're doing.
