Seems odd. Why wait two months? The postseason will just be getting going when football starts up. College football and the NFL will swallow it up.

fricking embarrassing. No reason whatsoever they can't start in early July.

Might as well just let this season go at this point and focus on starting next season on time.

Seems like a mistake but I can't say I'm surprised.

I'm happy we'll get playoffs and a conclusion to this season.

If they have to start next year a little later, whatever.

Even if games are played during the week?

It really makes no sense to resume the season after a 5 month layoff. That’s basically a full offseason. Whoever wins is going to be a bullshite champ. While also fricking up the 20/21 season.

Damn much later than I thought. I was envisioning some where around 4th of July.

How long is the rest of the season supposed to take? They’re not gonna have a lot of time off after before next season, even if starting around Christmas

That is so damn far away. I was hoping for an early July date. Something like starting games on the 4th of July would be freaking beautiful.

Not good for the older NBA stars. Rust is real

But at least we get some type of closure to this season

Wasted opportunity. Preseason NFL games that start a week later will get more eyeballs.

ETA: the timing of this news was well calculated. Imagine sports radio shows today had they released this news on Thursday
