You need a taller ladder to actually climb up. The rings need to go up past where you get it.

Or at least a handrail that extends higher than the ladder. And a separate foot platform, or "porch", at the top of the ladder that you can step into before entering your pop-up or box blind enclosure*.

* This one is by River's Edge. But you can build one much cheaper than this once you factor in shipping.

Try the blue or pink foam board, I used the foil covered stuff that had a white inside. Burlap hanging down from the windows, cut slits in it to put your gun thru or plexi/wood on a hinge. Seal it up good and a buddy heater. Like others said, carpet is a great idea, small windows.

I can build that ladder above . I’ll also put an expanded metal porch , that way any mud can fall through . I’m taking notes on all y’all’s suggestions

That thing has to be heavy. Hope you have chain hoist to get it on what would need to be a fairly large trailer.

Not really, I’ve been testing it as I’ve built it . I’ll cut the ladder and platform then bolt it on . The other legs come off. The box will be sections that screw together . This way I can trailer it to the site then screw it all together. Now I’ve got some big 16 yo boys that can probably carry it . LOL

Oh ok. If it breaks down some then you should be fine. I would walk through my plan/steps on paper before hauling it to your site to make sure everything is feasible even with the 16 yo labor!

Will do , I’ve got to haul it an hour over to our lease in San Saba Tx . I’m planning on having 3 of these and 3 ladder stands I’m also building.

Don’t forget decorative lanterns, ship lap on the inside, and wrap the legs in some cedar and stain that shite dark brown for the ultimate rustic look

I did the same for mine (also in san saba), worked great. Only thing that didn't go as smoothly as the test run in my driveway was putting the roof on. Turns out I'm not that tall and didn't really need a roof that high. We got it though.

If you decide to go with wood towers for any of the blinds you are doing, the EZ brackets that guy is selling on 16 towards Goldthwaite are great.

Small shelves, maybe a screw in the wall to hold binocs, 12 volt battery with small solar charger(glue on roof) to charge cell phone. Dig a small hole near one of the stand legs, run a tube up from there up into the stand to a funnel for indoor plumbing I kill many white cans during a hunt. Hang a few mirrors inside so you see out all the lanes without having to spin around in the stand so much. Write shot distance numbers on the wall in the stand for quick reference. Or you could just buy a 10 foot long camper and hunt out of that
