I think Brennan & Pelini take it to the Gators this fall....

And all this Trask talk is put to rest. FL is losing all their starting WR....while we will have one of the best groups returning. Pelini will bring a lot more pressure this year than we did last year and I think that will make Trask look average at best. I just don’t see many stopping this passing game this year....Chase/Marshall/McMath plus Gilbert is straight unfair.

Don't forget about CJ Henderson gone too. It's Florida so they'll have freaks on defense. Elam for example appears to be supremely talented.

I think we are top to bottom the more talented team. We always have trouble in the Swamp though. Gonna be a close one either way. I'll say LSU by 3 at this stage

All of this preseason Trask hype reminds me of the Mond hype before last year. We shall see.

Yeah, I just remember being a little frustrated vs Trask last year. We were not bringing pressure the first 3 qtrs of the game and he took advantage. Finally, we brought the pressure and we ran away with it in the 4th. I do worry about their D...and the Swamp of course. Crazy shite happens there.

I agree with you. Plus Florida also lost their two best pass rushers, their best linebacker, and their best cornerback at the end of 2019.
And I agree, with Pelini at the helm of the defense, LSU should be able to apply much more pressure on Trask, unlike last season.

God I hope so. Living in FL after loosing to the Gaturds is miserable.
Yes we have the weapons wide and in the backfield, my main concern is the O-Line. IF the O-Line comes together (injury free) I think we will do lots of damage this year.

Trask isn't much of a runner too put pressure on him and let our talented secondary feast.

Pelini is going to have more talent, experience and depth than Aranda had last year. Our DBs will be as good as we’ve ever had. Our Dline is talented and deep. LB worried me some, but if Cox is as advertised we have Clark, Cox and Brooks, and that’s a fantastic start. We will miss Chaisson, but that’s the only position at which we will be worse. We’ll be better at 5 or 6.

The game needs to be a night kickoff on ESPN. LSU has only lost once ('08) this century in night games at the swamp. Day games? Losses in 4 CBS kickoffs ('00, '06, '12, '18). Anyone that has been there for an afternoon game, even in early October, knows it's very hot and humid there. It was worse when the stadium had artificial turf.

It will be a knock down drag out fight as usual.

We will miss the frick out of Patrick Queen too. He was exceptional down the stretch. We also have to have someone in the secondary to call the coverages and identify what the offense is attempting to do. We had that in Delpit, even if he didn’t have as good of stats as the previous season. We have to find that new leader on defense that can identify what’s going on and a linebacker has to step up in Queen’s place, Phillips too. Phillips was a quiet monster for us in defending the run.

I have been thinking this a while now. People are finally going to see that LSU reloads just like Clemson/Bama. Do they think it's possible right now with all we lost? Everyone is praying it isn't, but we all see the potential of this team/program. There is talent EVERYWHERE.

Florida should be considered a Top 5 team come August.

They have no one to cover chase

Sucks we have to play Florida every year while Bama gets Tennessee

This game will be a pick em or -1 to -3 LSU by gametime

Our run game is going to be filthy because of our track team of receivers. Take your pick 15-20 yard gashings or 7/8 yards on the ground.

Nothing better when we win, nothing worse when we lose.
