4chan used to have a disclaimer on their front page that said: "The stories and information posted here are artistic works of fiction and falsehood. Only a fool would take anything posted here as fact."
Treat Reddit the same way. Tigerdroppings is small potatoes comparatively (sorry Chicken), but Reddit's userbase now has a significant portion who are:
1) paid corporate shills who push some product/service
2) anti-American (generally Chinese) posters who are likewise paid to post divisive and inflammatory shite
3) plain ol' ordinary trolls trying to get a rise out of people
8 years ago Reddit was mildly entertaining and you could actually find some useful tech information, but it's popularity, change in leadership, and invasion by shills has made it a cesspool which is no better than Facebook or Instagram.

His actions are far from a cuck, but I do think he was way off base going to her boss. That’s something she should have done on her own. It’s more than just a little strange for someone to approach their spouse’s boss and intervene on their behalf. If I were the boss, I’d think I would want to perhaps distance myself from both of them.

IF it is real a few possibilities
- husband is a passive aggressive control freak
- boss is nailing her
- it was a demotion, just because the pay is the same the job is not the same nor as important. Important jobs come with stress,, its just part of it.
