HD is super expensive, and less people are wanting to die because some soccer mom runs over them because she is texting her dinner order to Applebees.

I think they messed up not continueing the Buell brand. Was a nice american made sport/adventure bike brand that I feel is underrated.

Who would of thought bikes more aimed at making noise instead of performing while having an insane mark up compared to the competition would fail. I feel so bad for them and their $50 shitty t-shirts.

Is it me, or does the dude in the video come off as a fricking dick?

That and he has an unfortunate face. It looks like most of his parts are shite from a mile away and they literally put shite in front of his face when they get closer.

His voice is pretty annoying too.

Harley turned into a clothing company that also sells motorcycles. They have had more government intervention than just what was mentioned in the video. They were given BMW's intellectual property by the .gov to make a good bike.

I don’t understand the Harley’s made in Europe issue? Do Europeans care about ‘american made’? I doubt it. They weren’t doing it to sell to Americans, they tried to make bikes in Europe to sell to euros without tariffs.

It’s a niche brand, I don’t understand their issue with being niche. They are complaining about what they advertise to be.

straight up greed more than anything is what’s brought about the demise of Harley. Literally everything adorned with the Harley Shield is grossly overpriced. Some models start at almost $30,000 for a base model. And Top of the line with all options can be almost double that amount. Even their smaller bikes average around the $20,000 range. Then on top of that you add in the fact every 5,000 miles you’ll be bringing your Harley back to the dealer for a scheduled service that will cost you $300 to $500, depending on what service is due on the bike.

Contrary to popular belief, there are still a whole lot of guys, even young guys, buying and riding motorcycles. Go out on on sunny Saturday during spring and summer and you’ll see them everywhere. But the average bike rider either can’t or won’t spend the money it takes to own and maintain a Harley. Basically it boils down Harley has for years priced themselves out of their core customer demographic.

This is rich coming from an unwashed, white trash, drug addict jailbird. You’re in no position to sit in judgement of anyone.

Fewer people are riding motorcycles, and younger people aren't receptive to biker culture. People are also ultra risk averse now which will continue to grow.

I think most younger folks view loud beastly bikes as ostentatious.

As they say... HD means Harley Davidson and it also means Hundred Dollars

Anything with Harley's name on it is a hundred dollars or more
