I really can't pinpoint my best meal, I like food way too much to have a definitive best meal.

My worst meal was in Washington state. We were at a motel out in the middle of no where that had a restaurant. Orderd grilled chicken and it came out with a pineapple and cherry on top. It tasted like dog shite.

Best was probably what I cooked during the holidays last year

Roasted pork shoulder overnight 'a la parrilla' (Pernil)

Arroz con gandules ( spanish rice and green pigeon peas)
Tostones and mofongo (different ways of cooking plantains)

Yucca con mojo

and home made flan.

Worst: Every time I eat at McD's its the worst meal ever, but sometimes you just need something quick and easy to 'fill the hole'.

Best: Oddly enough at the restaurnat in the old Casino Magic in Biloxi. Filet with bearnaise sauce topped with lump crab meat.

Worst: Jack in the Box

DisHonorable mention: Ditka's. Steak was terrible, baked potato was cold.

I am one to eat pretty much anything normal that's put in front of me, with few exceptions, so it's hard for me to decide on a best meal as well. I will say the filet and ravioli I had in Wolfgang Puck's dining room on our honeymoon is in the top 10.

Worst: Anything I get at Applebee's. I boycotted that restaurant for years and went back last week, only to be disappointed again. They managed to screw up a chicken penne pasta dish by pre-cooking it, microwaving it (parts of it were still cold), and using those fake chicken breast patties (same as subway, Burger King, or the kind you get in bulk at Sam's).

The worst meal I've had in BR is probably Dreux's Grill.

Best was at Delmonico in N.O. Had the prime dry aged strip. Don't remember the sides and appetizers and such because I was so in awe of the steak. Had a nice bottle of red wine, a few cocktails, and a after dinner port.
Thank god someone else was paying because him and I ran up a $575 bill.

The most foul thing I have ever been served was turtle soup at the cajun restaurant next door to Cafe Des Ami in Breaux Bridge. I like creole style turtle soup, but the cajun version I was served was terrible. Vertebrae and tail bones and I imagine other bits and pieces were in the bowl. I can look overlook that, but the gravy/stock was disgusting. I couldn't eat it.

One of the best meals I had was at a Spanish tapas restaurant in Puerto Rico. The courses included octopus gaspacho, various empanadas, roasted pig, seafood paella and cheese flan.

I will definitely try it again b/c I know others who liked it. We got 2 combo plates, so we pretty much had a sampling and didn't like any of it.

Best - Delmonico

Worst in a decent resturant -Some place in Denver. I ordered something they had on the menu called a Bourbon Street Rib-eye

After a few bites I asked the Waitress after if they dragged it down Bourbon St before cooking it.

She gave a confused look... I asked if she had ever been to Bourbon Street, No she replyed..

You wouldn't understand then I told her

I once ordered a grilled Chicken sandwich at a restaurant in New Hampshire. They pretty much cooked 1/2 of a chicken breast on a stainless steel grill with vegetable oil - NOT a barbeque grill where I foolishly assumed it would be cooked. Then they put the breast between two slices of white bread covered in mayo and served it to me. I thought I was going to vomit. They didn't even put salt and pepper on it.

The best part is that this restaurant had been open for over 20 years in the same location which says they must get enough business. How - I'll never know. Also the name of the restaurant was Heberts and all of the locals pronounced it "He-Berts". It drove me crazy to hear that.
