Googling "Georgia Coronavirus Cases" brings a mixed bag of opinions it seems.

“Cases [in the U.S.] still continue to expand, and some of that is [due to] the fact that we’re testing more,” former FDA commissioner Scott Gottlieb said Wednesday on NBC’s The Today Show. Gottlieb cautioned that “this is an epidemic that hasn’t run its course nationally, and hasn’t really started to show sustained declines outside of the New York region.”

In particular, Georgia and Florida, which were projected to see a sharp rise in new cases, have not experienced major new outbreaks in the past week. The average number of new daily cases in Florida declined by 14 percent over the past week, and Georgia’s average new daily cases dropped by 12 percent during the same time period, according to an analysis by Axios.

37 billion people in Georgia died last week from the Boomer Doomer (XiNN reporting).
The overall population of Georgia was 10 million or so before the Rona ...
But we're doing just fine.

It will be interesting to watch.
Remember that the data is generally about 2 weeks behind where it is today.

Probably not worse than usual, but it's the Ronacaust, so, gotta get those numbers up somehow

News isn’t covering anything so I’m assuming it means it’s good

10 deaths in our county; all in nursing homes.

This is how its reported:
MSNBC: "There have been thousands of new cases in Georgia since re-opening,"
Anyone honest: "There have been thousands of new cases in Georgia since re-opening, though its been a steady decline."

We've been opened for 3+ weeks.
Have another downvote Karen.

They all died. CNN said they would and I have not heard anything from there so I assume they
re all dead.

Total cases are in the twenties in my county, one death - an 86 years old. Time to completely open up - full throttle, no restrictions.

Seriously, anything positive is like a flame that draws the ‘two weeks behind’ moths.

Facts = Karen huh?
So you’re about 1 week in to results.
I don’t mind the downvotes for providing fact. It Just proves this place has become the right wing equivalent of DU.

"The data on new cases is imperfect because of variations betweens states in the amount and frequency of coronavirus testing"
That says everything
That says everything

Knock on wood, Tennessee is doing well. The state has picked up the tab for testing, so anyone can get one for free, which will help track the virus in poor, rural counties.

There are bodies literally lining the streets in ATL right now

FFS, you people are insufferably ignorant. Dunning-Krueger on steroids as you parrot XiNN talking points.

Don't let the media, social or otherwise, mislead you, things are doing well here in Georgia. Believe me, there are no body dumps or mass graves and people aren't falling ill all over the place and overrunning the hospitals.
You still see some unusual things, one for me is the folks running around in masks of all sorts and gloves but that's fine, if it makes them feel better go for it. It's time to get back to business and Georgia is well on the way to doing just that

No - it’s not about trying to shoot down good news. It’s articulating fact that there’s an incubation period and time for symptoms to present which drive testing and diagnosis.
That’s generally about two weeks.
So the data you see today is about where the virus was 2 weeks ago.
That’s not a biased or political statement. It’s fact.

Generally is not a word used in a factual statement.
Regardless, its been three weeks, and we would already be seeing a sharp increase if it were going to happen.
