Rolling Averages. Even with the jump in newly reported confirmed cases, the percentage of positive tests to total tests remains the same.

Three day rolling average of deaths is not going back up at the same trend as it had the past 5 weeks, either.

The virus intensity is lessened in warm and moist climates.

Cases are still building because people have gotten tired of being told they cant eat at restuarants and get hair and nails done as they please. What happens when October comes around?

The death number is exactly the same as the average from the 2 previous days. Are you serious are do you intentionally make up stupid shite?

Looks like they saved the Tuesday bump for Wednesday

It's not even a bump.

The three day moving average of positives to tests went up 0.83%

Seven day positives to tests went up 0.07%

14-day is down 0.05%

There’s fixing to be a huge surge in cases once all prison & nursing home asymptomatic positive results come in

I thought I heard somewhere that nursing homes and long-term care facilities will now only be releasing numbers on Monday and Wednesday.

Is that accurate or am I just imagining that?

If so, then its natural to expect bumps in new cases and deaths on Mondays and Wednesdays.

Who gives a frick about a 2nd wave? The hospitals never got overwhelmed and no one ever ran out of ventilators.

That was the whole point of the shutdown......

2nd wave, 3rd wave, 350th, wave.....who fricking cares?

Pretty sure that is right
Also, Monday the 18th is when they will start naming individual nursing homes again
