I finally realized the truth about Affirmative Action

First off, I want to apologise to many of the posters on this board. I have strongly taken a stance that AA is not as prevalent as many claim it to be.
And while I still believe it is not a big issue on most campuses/ companies, I have recently noticed events that have caused me to question my previous stances.
I think the truth lies in the dynamics of how hiring occurs and what the demand for primary targets (or minorities or females) is at the time.
I believe that of all demographics, black women primarily have the highest advantage by a considerable margin. They do not necessarily need to have the previous work history or collegiate background for many positions. It helps significantly if they do, but all else being equal they will probably get selected over a more seasoned Candidate.
Looking over my own life and the situations of other people ( who happen to be white), I see how this can cause negative feelings towards the system. The system itself is flawed and actually promotes low achievement versus pushing employees to be the best they can be. The system of AA is perpetuated by Democrats and left leaning organizations as means to both repress whites and simultaneously act as a buff against conservative principles (why work harder if you know everything will just be given to you?)
In all fairness, their are plenty of minorities who earn things legitimately. But AA ironically hurts them as it calls into question whether they actually earned it or was it an agenda. Seeking agendas isn't profitable, as Hollywood is finding out the hard way.
As I am getting older, I'm starting to get red pilled more on jobs and politics.

If it took you this long to realize that hiring less qualified people based on some racial quota might lead to trouble that speaks for itself. The goal should be to bring people up to a higher standard instead of dumbing things down to the lowest common denominator.

Be cool guys. At least he has it figured out AND sees the issues and the negative effects of AA. I applaud him and hope that soon he will be requesting a coat.

The first jobs I had were small companies where the work force was predominantly white.
It wasn't until I worked for larger companies that the issue became more apparent.
I think small businesses are more profit driven. They don't have the resources for pet projects and usually need a lean, effective workforce.
Big companies have massive amount of "pork". Workers are mostly cogs in a machine. They can afford to a hit should something go amiss. I'm not saying that's the attitude they should have, but they are more susceptible to politically correct practices.

But this doesn't mean it the morally bad kind of racism.
Because we know there is good racism (affirmative action) and bad racism (Jim Crow, etc.)
Racism is merely a classification tool.
Why and for what purpose are you using this tool is where the right and wrong come in.

Did you also notice that the formerly high profile issue of 'Reparations'...faded out, in the Obama Administration; when Obama held Congressional power?
Blacks have long felt that "the dynanmics of how hiring occurs" was stacked against them; it was...for centuries.
Bottom line. Obama addressed the 'Reparations' issue via his "pen and phone". He manipulated the Bureaucratic Mechanism, across the spectrum, for Education requirements, hiring and salary/retirement packages. That is why State Governments are experiencing the need for Budgetary bailouts, as overly generous Retirement packages explode Budgets. And it is ALL lumped together...with the Private System; let one go unfunded...and it takes the whole bunch down. Like the Biblical Parable re "the weeds being entangled with the corn"...can't pull out the weeds without harming the corn.
I think it is educational for people like you and me (assuming you are White, as I am) to experience how it feels to be Systematically kneecapped, in our development of the kind of understanding/knowledge which will (may) lead to wise and just policy in the future. Because if we fall short in developing this wise and just policy - given the high tech scenarios coming soon - then we will be victim to our own ignorance. I.e., the "Fermi Paradox" will be found true, and we will go the way of all powerful Species who could not wisely employ the great power they acquired.
Pray for honesty and vision, and for the good folk to step up, and bear witness. I assume that is your intent, re the honesty of you Post. Truth is a two-edged sword.

I shite you not I had someone call me last week to ask if one of my employees was African American before they wrote them in for an award based off a story they had been given about the employee. The employee was Caucasian. Do you think they wrote them in for the award?

You certainly don't want to be Asian if you want to attend Harvard. They punish you. Can you imagine that being smart is a disadvantage to get into Harvard ? That's the same college that has an American communist arrested on Jan 28th for his association with CHINA. You can't make this stuff up.
