Do you not understand that until a vaccine is produced and distributed, this is the only way we can safely open up? What do you think will happen if we don't take these precautions?

The death toll in the US has been .00002% of the population. The worldwide morbidity rate has been just over double that of the flu.

You might as well be terrified of going outside because you think a meteor will hit you.

We survived the Spanish Flu for one reason: our immune systems kicked in. Many, MANY died from it but that's the way of nature without making a vaccine.

We won't have a widely available vaccine before winter comes back around, it's simple logistics. Even if we do then we face the problem of constantly chasing down new vaccines for the new strains it mutates into. Congrats on yet another vaccine every year?

Our best option is to work on herd immunity now while trying to manage deaths among those most vulnerable while the weather is good and we have the opportunity. Waiting until another wave hits during a possibly bad winter is a mind-numbingly worse idea than going out and about without masks.

We can safely open up because while extremely contagious, this virus isn't dangerous to the overwhelming majority of people. Those who are vulnerable know who they are and can take their own measures to avoid exposure. Wearing a mask really won't help to stop people from picking it up. Contract tracing is a waste of time and a violation of constitutional rights to travel and to privacy.

This country was founded on this thing called freedom. That freedom was taken from us through lies. It’s time we take our freedom back.

And if you’re scared to get sick you are free to stay at home. No one is forcing you to go out.

Imagine if we took the same approach to cancer, which kills 600k every year.

And do what with that contact tracing moving forward? And how to protect that data?

You know this is the type of shite that gets you killed because you just happened to be in the room with someone that disagreed with the government.

if masks work, why do we need to be closed at all?

if masks don’t work, why do we need to wear them?

Wear a mask if you want. But, outside healthcare workers that have been trained in infection control, it is going to do very little to prevent you from catching the virus.

Contact tracing is absolutely stupid. 100% Stupid.

The virus has an incubation period up to 14 days. That is a long time. The average individual will come across potentially hundreds of individuals during that time frame.

That same person will touch doors, produce, gas pump handles, and other stuff. Impossible to track who all touches those items after that person. 100% impossible.

Now, when did that individual get infected? 2 days ago? 13 days? No way to know.

The individual turns over contact names. The gov't then starts calling these people. What are they going to do? Force those people to stay home because they "MIGHT" have been around this person when they were infected? Are you fricking kidding me? That is some serious level BS and GESTAPO type government there!

If we were to follow this method, you would soon see huge swaths of society having to stay home. 14 days later, or whatever time frame they impose, that individual test negative and is allowed to return to work? Seriously?

This second individual returns to work, only to get a call a few days later because someone else they know or might have come into contact with tests positive? And the cycle starts over?

Commo, you are living up to your name. No way we should ever allow this to happen!!!
